Today we announced a partnership with The Miracle League!
Miracle League’s are local baseball leagues, with national recognition, that are built so that kids of all abilities can play baseball together. Now kids can choose local Miracle League chapters all over the country. They also have the option sharing half of their birthday gifts with the National Program.
Miracle League’s have always been challenged with raising funds to build and maintain fields and playgrounds. The average field cost is $400K plus facilities and playground, but the challenge has been accepted by hundreds of communities that are determined to provide the game of baseball to all.
“We are so excited about this partnership; hosting parties will not only help the local Miracle League’s raise money but also gain momentum, and awareness at a grassroots community level. This gives a way for anyone to give back to their local league while making a meaningful impact.” Stephanie Davis – National Program Director
Anyone in the community can host a charitable birthday party for Miracle League. Our parties collect monetary donations instead of traditional gifts and the Miracle League gets half. The birthday child gets 40% in a VISA Gift Card to buy their dream birthday gift. KCGT takes care of it all. You might recognize some familiar faces of the Grand Strand Miracle League in this short video:
An average KCGT party collects $300, that’s $150 per party donated to Miracle League. If 50 kids host a KCGT birthday party for a local ML that’s $7500 for a local chapter. That’s a lot of kid giving! And a lot of kids helping kids do what they love!
